The first meeting of our new CEO Advisory Council

The first meeting of our new CEO Advisory Council was a huge success. 🌟 Participants from each program proudly earned their seats by submitting applications sharing why they wanted to be part of the group.

This council will meet monthly to bring creative ideas to our CEO, share what is going well, discuss what they would like to see improved, and offer invaluable insight into our programs from the client perspective. 💜

We are so excited for this new platform for leadership, advocacy, and collaboration across The Haven.

Our Haven Academy Director, Heather Shoup, spent the morning visiting classrooms at Annie Lucy Williams Elementary in partnership with Embracing Our Differences. She shared stories all about kindness 🫶🏼, happiness, and lifting each other up and the students absolutely loved it!

Heather’s big heart goes far beyond our classrooms at The Haven and we love seeing her spread that same kindness out in the community. A beautiful reminder that small acts of kindness can make a big impact. 💜📚✨

🚤🌊 What a Day at Boats & Badges! 👮‍♂️🚒

What started as a simple “show and tell” idea has turned into a truly incredible event!!

Thanks to the incredible support from MyFWC Florida Fish and Wildlife, Sarasota County Emergency Services, Venice Police Department, U.S. Coast Guard, Venice Fire, Sea Tow Venice, and Sarasota Police Department, our clients from main and south campus enjoyed an unforgettable day of learning and fun — complete with scuba gear excitement from the SCSO Dive Team! 🤿

With over 175 attendees, the day was full of smiles, laughter, and community spirit. Huge thanks to Stoked Graphics, Charlene’s Cafeteria, Osprey Harbor Marina, and SeaTow for keeping everyone fueled and refreshed.
